Maybelline Color Molten By Eyestudio Nude Rush Review & Swatches

Saturday, December 27, 2014

Hello Beauties,

How are you all today? I hope all of you are having a great day. The new year is almost here and you all know what that means, companies start releasing 2015 products. Last week I picked up a tons of new Maybelline products and I came across a display for the new Color Molten shadows. Now I have not heard about them before seeing this display, so I was not sure what they actually were. But you all know me I had to try at least one shade and I got Nude Rush.

First of all lets talk about the packaging, it comes housed in a small round shape container and has a slit in the middle for 2 shadows to go in there. I like the packaging because it is not bulky and you can just throw it in your purse to go. But let me tell you guys, you might not even want to buy this in the first place. There are suppose to be a "gel" to powder finish eyeshadow, I do see the gel a little bit but the powder is no where. I had such a bad experience with these, they are not creamy or powdery at all. There is absolutely no pigmentation in these, as you can see from my swatches above. This swatch is with 2-3 swipes of each shade and still nothing. I applied these on my lids as a base and it did nothing for me. I am usually a big fan of Maybelline products, but this product just did not do it for me. I hope they come out with a new formula for these soon, because in the display the color collection looked really great. Let me know in the comments below what do you guys think about this Color Molten from Maybelline. Thank you so much for reading and have a great day.

oxoxo,
     Annie

  1. Wow the swatches really do look like they are completely useless, I don't really get what they were going for here! Anyway I appreciate your honest review because I know that when I saw the display I would want to try them out too :)

  2. I felt the same way. I had high hopes because I love the Color Tattoos. These were just a major fail for me, unfortunately.
