Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick in Clay Crush Review & Swatches

Friday, June 12, 2015

Yes! Maybelline has released 10 new shades of the creamy matte lipsticks. The collection which released on June 1st has new permanent shades so don't get worry. I had to of course pick up a couple of shades and after testing them for a week I now have a review for you all. The packaging is the same as the old Maybelline Creamy Matte lipsticks so nothing new here.

Clay Crush: is a creamy matte deep brown shade that is perfect for every day wear. This shade is very warm tones so if you are wearing this with cooler tone shadows it will not look great at ll. The lipstick glides on the lips very smoothly and does not transfer at all. The formula is just the most creamiest I have discovered in the matte collection line. This beautiful shade stayed on my lips for well over six hours which is just amazing. Now you might think that these matte lipsticks are very drying, sorry my friend you are wrong. This lipstick in not drying at all and stays creamy and smooth through out the wear. I have chapped lips especially the summer time and I have no issue wearing this lipstick. Over all I am really impressed with this beautiful shade and cant wait to share more shades with you all. Thank you for reading.

    1. these are super creamy so they dont dry out the lips at all!

  3. Looks a good darker nude to me! I ordered two online and I need more, formula is amazing :)

  4. I was actually browsing through these in store the other day and they look amazing. Even though thy are matte they don't look like they would dry out the lips at all due to their creamy consistency.

    1. you are right they are not drying at all. Next time pick some up!
