CoverGirl Outlast Longwear + Moisture Lipstick in Pink Pow Review & Swatches

Tuesday, July 7, 2015

Last month CoverGirl released a whole new collection of lipsticks. I picked up two shades and I have already reviewed one here so be sure to check that post out. Let me start with the packaging which I am no a big fan of at all. The lipstick comes housed in a round container with a clear lid and the lipstick does not go all the way down. Which means that when I am putting the cap back on there are chances that I will take some of the lipstick with it. I just wish they would have thought about this and made sure that no lipstick got wasted.

Pink Pow: is a beautiful light rosy pink shade with no shimmer or glitter to it. The formula of this lipstick I have to say is super creamy and glides on the lips. The lipstick is fully pigmented and lasts a long time on the lips but does not leave a tint behind. I can say that it gives my lips moisture and does not dry them out. Also you can pair this shade with a lip liner if you want to give it more dimension but the lipstick is great on its own. You can find this lipstick at your local drugstore with many other shades. Let me know in the comments below what do you think about this lipstick? Thank you for reading and have a great day.

xoxoxo,

  1. The colour is gorgeous but I totally feel your pain, the packaging is annoying!

  2. Surprisingly I love the looks of the packaging. I think it fits Covergirl branding and goes well for a more professional look. I do wish the lipstick went the whole way down though, so annoying. As for the formula, as hearing you talk about it I think I need to go out and snag some of these up, they are just so darn expensive here in Canada.

  3. Despite the awful packaging, the lipstick sounds gorgeous! I love the pinky-nude colour and the fact it keeps your lip moisturised is a big selling point for me as i suffer from dry lips. May have to try and find somewhere to buy this lipstick!
