Milani Rose Blush In American Beauty Rose Review & Swatches

Friday, July 10, 2015

As you all have seen from my previous posts that Milani has come out with three new limited edition blushes. They have released Awakening Rose , BlossomTime Rose and this blush in American Beauty Rose. The packaging is super cute with a clear lid and the blush it self is shaped like a rose. I love storing these blushes on my vanity because they are so pretty.

American Beauty Rose is a beautiful pinkish nude shade with shimmer in it. One thing I noticed about the shimmer is that it is only in the pan once on the cheeks you don't see a lot of shimmer. Which can be a good or bad thing but it is not overwhelming at all. The texture of this blush I would say it kind of drying so you really have to dig your blush brush in there to get the product out. I have also applied this blush with my fingers which worked fine and blended out very easily. This blush lasted me up five hours on the cheeks which is alright for a dry blush. Usually Milani blushes are very powdery but for some reason this one wasn't but really drying. Over all if you like this shade head over to your local CVS and pick it up because it is Limited Edition. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this blush. Thank you for reading and have a great day.

xoxoxo,

  1. I'm so upset. I have been looking UP and DOWN for these… I live in a small town in the Midwest, so it's unlikely I'll ever find these. I have all of the others, so I need these 3. :(

    2. I found them that SAME evening… I almost passed out in CVS. Once I get paid on Friday I'm going back to buy the rest of them so I can sell them on eBay. They're going for like $20/each on eBay!
